IDS @ Beloit Farmer’s Market: Saturday, August 24th 8am-1pm: Look for the IDS booth at the Beloit Farmer’s Market. We will be selling tickets to the 3rd Annual Wild Wild West Hoedown. We also hope to have face painting and possibly balloon animals for the kids!
3rd Annual Wild Wild West Hoedown @ Kutter Harley Davidson: Thursday, September 26th 5:30-8:30pm:Independent Disability Services, Inc. (IDS) will host our 3rd Annual fundraising event, the “Wild, Wild, West Hoedown.” The fundraising event’s purpose is to create public awareness of IDS programs and services but also to host a unique and enjoyable charity event for community members. Guests will enjoy seeing old friends and making new ones in a comfortable atmosphere with great food, auctions, live music and dancing – all to benefit more than 250 children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Irish Fest Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser to benefit Independent Disability Services and Rotary Botanical Gardens: Sunday, October 6th 8am-Noon: Enjoy delicious all-you-can-eat pancakes, two links of sausage, milk, coffee or orange juice at the Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 8am until noon at Rotary Botanical Gardens. People of all ages will get a kick out of the live performances by the Kinsella Academy of Irish Dance, and kids are sure to love face-painting, Irish make and take projects, a pot-o-gold scavenger hunt, and more! Attendees of the event will also receive admission into Janesville’s gem, the award-winning 20-acre botanical showcase known as Rotary Botanical Gardens. Proceeds from the Pancake Breakfast will benefit two local nonprofit organizations, Independent Disability Services and Rotary Botanical Gardens.
